Site

This term refers to the location of an evaluation that examines the effectiveness of a specific program.

For purposes of evaluation and assessment in CrimeSolutions.gov, the term “site” includes the following three elements: 1) geographic location (determined by factors such as physical location or boundaries or contextual variations); 2) jurisdictional or organizational independence of implementation (determined by factors such as independence of decisionmakers); and 3) population independence or uniqueness (determined by factors such as race/ethnicity and socioeconomic status).
